CUNO announces the launch of ScaleGard® HT SF165

…..a NEW Aqua-Pure Commercial Scale Inhibition System for High-Temperature Water Applications

The ScaleGard®HT reduces lime scale formation from hard water in applications where water is either heated or evaporated.  The rugged ScaleGard HT system extends the life and increases the efficiency of coffee brewers, espresso machines, and steamers.

The proprietary scale inhibitor delivered by the ScaleGard HT system remains stable to application temperatures as high as 200°F (93°C). (Inlet water must be less than or equal to 100°F (38°C).)

The ScaleGard HT uses a forced-feed orifice to carefully meter a precise volume of proprietary high-temperature scale inhibitor into water that has been filtered with an Aqua-Pure Commercial Series Sanitary Quick Connect (SQC) dual-zone water filter with IMPACT* media to reduce sediment and chlorine taste, and odor.  The system not only delivers better quality water which aids in equipment protection and improves taste as well.

The ScaleGard HT SF165 has a rated capacity of 35,000 gallons (132,000 liters) and a flow rate of 3.34 gal/min (12.6 lit/min).  A water-filter cartridge with more or less capacity may be substituted if or when the application demand flow rate or capacity changes.
